International BMW Rear Drive Poll / Internationale BMW HAG-Umfrage

.
English: Please vote and tell your BMW friends about the poll, too. Than more BMW owners participate, than more meaningful the results!
  1. Sections A.1 - A.3 are for those who never experienced any problem with the rear drive. You do not need to mark anything in the B section.
  2. Sections B.1 - B.5 are for those who did experience problems related to the rear drive (seal, bearing). You do not need the section A.
  3. If you own(ed) multiple BMW motorcycles, please use the date from the newest bike which has more than 15,000 m / 24.000 km mileage.
  4. Voting is only possible for registered Forum members. I'd love to do without but there are too many smaller and bigger kids around on the internet. Please do not hesitate registering to participate, it is very easy.
  5. Your participation is to the benefit of the community!

German: Bitte auch Deine BMW Freunde zur Teilnahme anregen, denn je mehr Teilnehmer desto aussagekräftiger wird das Resultat!
  1. Sektion A.1 - A.3 ist für die Besitzer die kein Problem mit Hinterradantrieb (Simmerring, Lager) hatten. Bitte nichts in der Sektion B markieren.
  2. Sektion B.1 - B.5 ist für alle mit Problemen in Bezug auf den Simmerring + Lager. Du brauchst natürlich nichts in der Sektion A zu markieren.
  5. Deine Teilnahme ist Vorteil für alle!

LAST REMINDER: A-Section = for everyone with no issues, B-Section = Voting for those with issues.
NOCHMALS: A-Sektion ist für alle ohne Probleme, B-Sektion für alle mit Problemen.

It's ok ghostrider. It is the limitation of such polls. Not possible to stretch it for accommodating every individual case. Well done taking the '08.

If you want to the only way would registering again for each voting, if you have a second and third email address. I could delete the additional registrations as soon as the votes are in place.

Suggestion for survey

I strongly suggest that one of the items in the C.5 section should be " More comfortable seat". I have my second R1200Gs in the last 3 years and am just amazed at how uncomfortable the seats are on these expensive motorcycles. - Bob

Bob, it did pop into my mind. But later I decided no, I will not go there. Looking through the bike forums seats and wind shields make up for most posts, regardless brand or year. Seats and wind shields are too personal. If you look for a really lousy seat try a KTM

Sorry :+)

The one on the GS is constructed for an average person of ~ 170 pound. It has to somehow ... somewhat, somehow fit for the 250 pound western fat-ass and for the 140 pound Singaporean at the same time. May be BMW has a good idea for some sort of universal seat.
