In the past R 1200 GS with ESA suspension were not compatible with high quality aftermarket shocks. Now Wilbers has managed to pair the BMW ESA with special compatible Wilbers shocks. The total cost is stated with Euro 998 / US$ 1495. Note, the Wilbers system keeps the BMW ESA.
For the time being the coupling will be done by the Wilbers headquarters in Germany only. The website says partners and importers are trained to perform the same work. More information:
