instrument cluster bad contact

Speaking of a R 1200 GS 2005

Hello everybody, I'm with a problem, and suddenly someone can give me a light.

My LCD panel is with a bad contact, sometimes the eight left without a leg, a line that was already here do not know where it appears, disappears, reappears. Anyone have an idea what might be?

UPDATE TODAY

Iīm going nuts!

Jesus, I cleaned , I used the contact cleaner and nothing happens, nothing resolves. The LCD doesnīt turn on anymore. It happens once and works minutes later. This time this not happen.
Is there a chance that the problem not to be the instrument cluster and be another unit?

Iīm thinking to buy another board from a guy in United Kingdom that has a board like that but I donīt know if it gonna work.

A new one costs 916 US.

My friendo used the contact cleaner and didnīt find any cracked contact.

thanks any help. :O :O :O :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Which leg of the "8" matrix was disappearing? Is it the km counter you are talking about? Was there anything else happing in the display, like displaying erratic signs? Where did you apply the contact cleaner? On the circuit board or on the plug?

A hint from the German GS forum: Check the plug of the LCD inside the instrument housing.
