OEM Alarm system

Hello,
My first post here and I hope I am in the right place. I have searched for BMW OEM Alarm but could not find what I was looking for.

I have a BMW Alarm fitted to my 2010 R1200 GS. It came without a user manual. On asking about it BMW says that the alarm can only switch on and off and that is it. There is no other adjustment. This sound odd as my friend has an older GS and he says that you can do many settings with the alarm not just off and on.

Is this true? Is there anybody out there that has a 2010 GS with an OEM alarm fitted?

I do have the BMW DWA 6 alarm. There are a couple of adjustments possible. There is a BMW Rider's Manual Alarm DWA 6 2008. I sent a soft copy to you by email.

Please check it and let us know if it works for you.
