MRA Vario screen extension

The screen extension which comes with several factory MRA screens is also available as accessory for mounting to other screens. I myself tried it on two screens.

There are currently 11 different versions which fit various screens (updated post below). Here is how to measure which type is needed:

1. Fabricate a template from a piece of carton, it should be 30 - 35 cm wide, and have a triangle cut out.

2. Mark the center of your screen, then hold your carton to you screen as shown.

3. Measure distance "b" where the carton touches your screen.

4. Select your extension according to the table below.

Translation help:
Lochabstand = Distance of the holes to drill
VT-Aufsatz = Name of the spoiler
Farbe = Colour (klar = clear, Rauchgrau = smoke grey)
Bestellnummer = Article No.
Gesamtlange = Overall length

Or, download the instruction as pdf here: Mounting the VTA screen-extension to the original windshield.
