Side panels - make sure they are fixed!

Happened at 190 kph on the German autobahn. No, not mine.

The side covers are fixed with a few quick release screws, and a plastic toggle on each side of the panels insides . Disaster strikes, if
- one of the quick release thingies is loose (not mounted properly, or tresspassers played with it)
- plus the plastic toggle is open, by vibration etc., which does happen if the quick releases are loose

BMW has a screw set for a few $ available as a replacement for the plastic toggle. This cancels the possibility taking the panels off in 15 seconds, but may be worthwhile for those who need piece of mind.
