New member here

Hello all,

Here is a new member from Montreal, Canada. I've been a R1200 GS rider since the Spring of 2010, after switching form a F800 ST. I had a great end of the year deal at my dealer's and couldn't resist. Especially since several of my riding buddies ride GSes. So, I bought it on Chrismas eve 2009. And then had an agonizing wait until next spring to ride it. Of course, here in Montreal we are snow bound pretty much from the end of November to the end of March. And it's darn cold. These must be the longest four months in the year.


Looking forward to reading you and hopefully contribute my modest experience with the GS. :thumbsup:

The F 800 ST is sure a nice bike, too, but I am sure you will enjoy your new ride. Let us know how you are perceiving the big change.
